Our kombucha scoby starter cultures are hand-crafted in Sydney using the finest organic and fair-trade ingredients. Get started with our kombucha scoby, then enhance your home-brew setup with our ingredients for secondary brew for unique and exquisite kombucha flavouring.

A kombucha scoby culture consists of yeast and bacteria existing in a symbiotic relationship. When combined with sweetened tea and fermented for 7 to 30 days, the resulting kombucha beverage has a slightly carbonated zing and is packed full of B vitamins, enzymes and organic acids.

The kombucha cultures are grown in large vats and the scoby is cut from a larger mother culture. This does not affect the fermentation or quality of the product. Please bear in mind that the images may be different from actual item.
